Welcome to Department of Economics

The department of Economics, established in 1965, is one of the oldest department of Shikshanmaharshi Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe College, Miraj. It provides knowledge about the allocation of scarce resources, economic issues and numerous public policies which is useful to the students for decision making in their everyday life. Department offers an excellent foundation for the students to undertake the research to study the socio-economic problems of nearby areas.

    To contributes to the society and the business community by developing graduates with current business knowledge and skills through relevant curricula and encouraging the knowledge base by engaging in research.
